Elektric Park 2026: What you missed (or what still awaits you!)

Elektric Park 2026 : Ce que vous avez manqué (ou ce qui vous attend encore !)

🎉 A historic edition on the Île des Impressionnistes

If you weren’t there on September 5 and 6, 2026, you missed one of the biggest celebrations of electronic music in France this year. But don’t panic: we’re telling you everything, including the history of the festival, and there may still be more surprises to come!

On the Île des Impressionnistes in Chatou, Elektric Park (formerly Inox Park) once again proved why it is the must-attend festival of the French electro scene. After 15 years in existence, this 2026 edition made an impression with an XXL lineup, unique performances, and an electric atmosphere.

📜 The history of Elektric Park: From Inox Park to a legendary festival

It all started in 2010 with Inox Park, a daring festival launched by Joachim Garraud and his partner Marc Tambon. Their idea? To offer an electronic music event in broad daylight, a first in France, inspired by the Australian festivals where Joachim had played. Despite the initial skepticism (“Electronic music only works at night”), the festival managed to establish itself thanks to its idyllic setting on the Île des Impressionnistes and its unique atmosphere.

In 2017, there was a turning point: Marc Tambon left France, and Joachim found himself alone at the helm. With Benjamin Batard, he relaunched the festival under a new name: Elektric Park. Despite a disastrous 2017 edition (pouring rain, mud, public cancellations), the festival rose from its ashes in 2018 thanks to new partners like Regart and Allo Floride. Switching to a two-day format allowed it to host more artists and stages, and gave a new lease on life to the event.

In 2021, Elektric Park made history by being the first festival to reopen after Covid in France, with an innovative health protocol (mandatory proof of vaccination). A breath of freedom for a public thirsty for partying.

🌟 Highlights of the 2026 edition

A breathtaking lineup

With over 60 artists spread across 4 stages, Elektric Park 2026 offered an explosive mix of house, techno, drum & bass, and electro. Among the highlights:

  • Joachim Garraud, the founder of the festival, marked the event with a memorable set, reminding everyone why he is a legend of the French Touch.

  • Bob Sinclar, Petit Biscuit, Miss K8, and many others ignited the crowd with energetic performances.

  • Exclusive collaborations and B2B (Back-to-Back) sets surprised festival-goers.

💔 Special Note: This year, the festival paid a touching tribute to Kavinsky, who was initially scheduled to play. His absence was marked by a moment of silence and a performance dedicated in his honor.

An immersive experience

Elektric Park isn’t just about the music. This year, the festival pushed boundaries even further with:

  • A 360° stage that placed the audience at the heart of the action, with visual installations by Madame Loyal.

  • Luminous decorations and video mapping that transformed the island into a dreamlike universe.

  • A preserved natural setting, with, as every year, a tree planted to symbolize the festival’s ecological commitment.

📖 Joachim Garraud and I Love My DJ Life: The book that chronicles 40 years of electronic revolution

If you missed the festival, you can still dive into the world of Joachim Garraud thanks to his book I Love My DJ Life. This 528-page interactive book, enriched with over 450 QR codes, takes you behind the scenes of his exceptional career:

  • His beginnings in mobile disco and on pirate radio stations.

  • The creation of Zemixx, the first French podcast dedicated to electronic music.

  • Anecdotes from mythical festivals (Love Parade, Technoparade, Inox Park).

  • His collaborations with David Guetta, Jean-Michel Jarre, Skrillex, and many others.

“This book is the story of my life, but also that of an entire generation of enthusiasts. I wanted to share the key moments, the encounters, and the evolution of our craft, from vinyl to digital controllers.” — Joachim Garraud

And good news: 100% of the profits from the book are donated to the A.R.T.u.R. association, dedicated to kidney cancer research, in tribute to his friend Fred Rister.
